No worries! The Q2M is a fixed 28mm lens so I shot exclusively on that for the better part of a year. Got used to it, but didn't love it.

Happy to answer any questions! Cheers!
Glad I could help! I love the M10-M. The ability to get the same caliber monochrom files like the Q2M that I had, but also be able to change lenses is huge. Plus I love how deliberate you have to be without autofocus.

For references, these were all shot on either 40mm or 50mm

Is it possible to capture the essence of a person from just a brief interaction on the street — in just a single frame?

Maybe not, but it won’t stop me from trying

“For me, the camera is a sketchbook...”
— Henri Cartier-Bresson

I think about this often. It takes the pressure off the result & shifts my focus back on the process — seeing, listening, responding to what the world shows us; learning from each moment & then moving on to the next #streetphotography
Prints for the street performer we came across yesterday

It’s always fulfilling to be able to give back to folks the moment they gave to us and our cameras

I’ve been asked many times — why do #streetphotography?

In large part, I do it to experience the full range of humanity beyond the bubble of my own little world

One minute you could be told to “f— for saying hello”, the next you could be serenaded by a street performer #photography #classicmono

Nearing the halfway point of 2025 & I’m more or less on track with my plan:

Study ~5 photos per day

Deliberate practice is the goal

So, I’m intentional with my camera, & I’m intentional in my studies.

As y’all have followed along (thank you!!), I hope my development reflects this
