the pokemon models look amazing, the CHARACTERS and their design are AMAZING, the characters themselves are all pretty loveable, they’re all my friends and i love them. dialogue has been fun and goofy.

the battling system is so fun, the nightly z-a royale is a blast, shiny hunting is a lot of fun, the map is constantly changing throughout the game making it interesting and engaging, the rooftops are a whole new world w secret pokemon and items and specific parkour ways to get to em

i think game freak is really good at aesthetics for 2-D, but their 3-D world building aesthetic has always needed work. but besides some flat textures/repeated building textures, the game looks GOOD
