My Father in law was in the 237th Combat Engineers, not sure what division. He landed on Utah Beach in the 4th wave which landed 10 minutes after the 1st, had the top of his thumb shot off and was in England til September. When he came back to his unit in Belgium there was 5-6 guys left from D-Day.
