I cast on these socks just before I was pregnant with the big lad, and cast off just after he was 9 months old.

I did make a few other things in between as well as a whole person, tbf, but I should probably knit more. Or faster.
A pair of white lady's feet wearing a pair of hand knitted socks in an orangey, greeny, pinky variegated colourway reminiscent of spring flowers. They are ribbed at the top and slightly textured on the body of the feet.

Big girl and I have the best idea we've ever had. We're going to train the baby to style hair so we have an on tap hairdresser for the rest of our lives.

I am up on my own with the baby and he's pulling himself up on everything, slowly. So I played Jupiter to amuse myself while he emerges from behind things like a planet, and he's now bopping along to it. A tiny classical music fan!

Giant baby, I'm a fairly lax parent, but even I draw the line at allowing you to murder and eat a daddy longlegs off the bathroom floor.

(it remains there until someone not holding a giant baby can rescue it)
