Gang and gun violence is an extreme issue, and not what most hard working, community loving Black people do.
People fight with their family and immediate neighbors (true no matter your ethnicity). Easy access to guns & unrelenting poverty is the real issue, crying shame and true “crime.”
This is the “cake” that was baked in and from: Hopelessness, future-less-ness, generational poverty, disenfranchisement, overwhelming joblessness, infiltrated & easy gun access, mafia fantasies And, unending madness (not to mention, work wages don’t pay the rent).
I hold Democratic values: care for all humanity, elimination of poverty, homelessness and crime thru preventative measures (like never before), quality whole-body healthcare for all… It’s also true that the Dem’s have sorely disappointed me.
They need to be the party of RESISTance not acquiescence!
