If someone asks, "What's the point of protesting?" here is my answer. Seeing all the people come together today for a common cause shows me that I am not alone. I am surrounded by others who share my views. Knowing this, I feel empowered. When we feel empowered, things change. It's that simple.

This is called manipulation to avoid accountability or "playing the victim" (a form of gaslighting). This behavior is common among narcissists and others who can’t handle confrontation.

The media is all about confrontation/holding people accountable. It's no surprise the media is being hit so hard
