After finishing Hungerstone (recent Carmilla-inspired novel) by Kat Dunn this morning, I'm at 51! Mostly by queer authors, ~20 by trans and/or nonbinary authors, and a few I learned about through your posts (Dorley book 1, Trans/rad/fem, and Magica Riot)

I learned about He Fucked the Girl Out of Me by Taylor McCue through queer-games-internet, but I haven't seen it come up on trans-book-internet. It's a short visual novel w/ some interactive elements based on the creator's experiences as a sex worker early in transition

Thank you! I've never heard of some of these, will def be adding Bad Girls and Pretty to my TBR and reading the Gimplevich short story when I have a chance! I loved his short story collection but haven't read his newer work

I'd also love to know what the syllabus is like! Both to find new books to read, and b/c I'm curious about what would get chosen for a course like this, and in what order they'd be read

Also, your other post said you've gotten a lot of writing work done, that still counts as work! Even if you're not getting full pages done atm, I'm glad I can help fund the process in whatever form it is able to take right now

I just subscribed to your patreon yesterday, and it truly was not for the perks of being a patron, I just want to support you and your comic, especially while you're without a day job! Do what you gotta do to take care of yourself and enable the comic to exist at all, regardless of the pace

I read most of the book in two sittings, with only a break to sleep, i was completely captured (and very anxious for much of it). Definitely one of the best books I've read this year, god damn

I figured out I was trans like a year after high school, but this book brought back memories (both good and bad) that I hadn't thought about in YEARS. In particular my experience being on a varsity sports team whose members ranged from "chill kind dudes" to "transphobe who wants to fight everyone"

TRUE
Have you read the Nausicaa manga? I read it for the first time least year and was blown away, it was disturbing at times but deeply moving.

This piece feels hyper targeted, I'm currently learning basic cooking with zero past experience, and I'm at a point now where I feel like I understand what I'm doing and can enjoy it! I'm also doing it while transitioning. Looking forward to having the cooking sense and comfort you describe in this!
