Bluesky has been inundated with scammers. I've had three confirmed scammers and I'm certain there were more before I removed them and blocked all DMs. MAGA? Foreign? Boys who need real jobs? Who knows.

Here is just a reminder for those of us pure at heart who tend to let their guard down.

Trump has hijacked our govt and has handed agencies over to his cabinet of horrors, to whom he has relinquished complete control, so he can focus on the "fun" parts of potus - retribution & making $ off the office.

Not sure how Naziferatu got so hands on as he's only an advisor. Proof of ineptness.

You are absolutely correct! They are way more culpable than any Dem!

It's just, when we had the power, we needed to act swiftly. Garland sat quietly for 2 years on this political hot potato until after the Jan 6 committee released it's findings.

No other crime would be handled in the same manner.

Really? I hadn't heard that. Our side always has a plethora of excellent candidates making it so difficult to choose in a primary. Repubs only wished they had that problem. It's a race to the bottom for them.📉

I like what I've seen as well - though admittedly, I haven't been following closely.

He is an example of what Dems can do when they go outside the box of norms. His ethnicity, intelligence, & charisma are quite threatening to Repubs.

I think Repubs may have met their match on this one😉

I agree. They peeled off people in numerous deceptive ways & they didn't win by much.

I am familiar with all the folks you like. I greatly appreciate them too. Adam Schiff & Jamie Raskin were such assets on the 1/6 committee. I would consider either one as well.

Agree! IMO, Repub lies and rhetoric are what happened. They detected a weakness (a division in our Party) and exploited it.

You can also tell when they get help from their friends (Russian). You drown in anti Dem narratives. It's overwhelming & it takes hold when it remains uncontested.

Chris is good. Maybe too gentlemanly for these times. I am watching Gavin and JB b/c they are hi qlty attention grabbers. I also noticed Janet Mills. She has moxie when pushed. I am open to anyone willing to boldly stand against fascism & fight. Trump always talks about having his base's backs

No statute of limitations on the crime of insurrection or terrorism.

Too bad Biden, and by extension, Garland didn't treat this w/ the urgency it mandated. That in itself was a betrayal to America and its values.

pull it off, sadly. Not too nurturing, not too strong, charasmatic, not establishment, & somewhat narcissistic (a trait more dominant in men). Anyone willing to go outside the norms (legally) to correct course & willing to hold every law breaker in this regime to account, will be well received.

Plus, she was labeled "establishment". Kamala was thrown into the mix unexpectedly with no time or oppty to define herself. She walked away as an extension of Biden. Biden's Palestine policy hurt her. So it's a bit more complex. I won't rule out a woman, but she's going to have to be special to

I mostly agree, but let's remember, Obama was very charasmatic and was able to galvanize the black vote. Hillary was a victim of unchallenged right wing slander since the 90s when she showed strength as a first lady. That carried with her. Those days were tough for women - quite misogynistic.

Stealing limelight from a narcissist is half the battle. Informing the public, showing some backbone and uniting a frayed Party (cause there are a lot of people on Bsky pissed off at the Dem Party) is the other half.

I am hoping they will run. But please read the entire convo (there's a lot) with my friend to gain context on what I was actually saying. Dems feel despair right now due to a lack of ONE unifying leader. It is hard for sitting Govs to be on scene daily to meet the demands of what our side is missing
