Bit of a vent but I just very much feel done with trying to make art and trying to make it work its just very much not happening, you know. I'm at a loss with it all, I just feel like quitting it permanently

AAAA thank you so much!! I'm so glad you like it!!!

Made another clay head, this time of Kismet for @emimillerart.com for artfight.

Super enjoyed this one. It was a fun challenge to! I've missed sculpting so much with my hand issues recently and I'm super happy he's turned out quite well

Trying to get back into the groove of sculpting again. Been struggling with my hands a lot recently, so I haven't sculpted in a while. Thought I'd do something for artfight to get back into it!
Not amazing but with my hands currently, I'm quite happy.

Character owned my Monstrantia on #artfight

For context my space is a desk and that's it 😂

Another year and fingers crossed we have a place with space where I can learn to cast my sculptures and where I can sculpt bigger things 🤞

My hands are still suffering a fair bit but here's a little work in progress.

Next I'm sorting the teeth and gums out as these are just temporary at the moment.
Also, ignore the ugly paint job on the frame it's recycled and needs to be re done lol

Sorry I haven't been posting much it seems my hands keep having reactions to the clay I'm working with and I've been trying to let them heal up before trying again

Mini rant, but if you're going to run a design competition to be put on your product and you allow Ai submissions you don't care about your product enough or artists, which is funny considering you rely on the arts.

I'm somewhat back and been doing a little sculpting. Here's a work in progress photo

Also please ignore the mess which is my desk and the Fibers on him I dropped him earlier 😭

Quote this with the first time you started using a medium vs now!

This is mine from when I just turned 13, probably following a tutorial. And this is my work now at 24.

(I only sculpted for about a year and a half back then and abandoned it till 2023 where I picked it back up due to a friend!)

Pinched our dinning room chair so I can actually sit and do art. My backs gonna be in agony but till I have spare cash it'll do

Like my artwork? You can support me over on Kofi! Where I frequently post my works in progress and have the odd digital commission open. The current one is a painted d&d/oc headshot for only £28!

Any support is incredibly appreciated!

Realised I completely forgot to post the two colour varient experiments I did with this piece. Not the biggest fan but my friends like them so posting them 😅

I want to open commissions again but I really struggle with valuing my art. Whenever I do I charge way under what I should for the hours I put in.

Anyone else struggle with seeing their arts value or fear of increasing their pricing? 😅
