Happy #webcomicday ! I'm Kaija, I'm creating a fantasy adventure comic where a kid is on a mission to rescue his baby sister from a fairy at the palace, there are some snags. Suitable for most audiences, maybe PG for fantasy violence.

"Pancakes!" Isabell shouts as she sits down while her mother puts a pre-cut pancake down Infront of her. She gives Isabell and Casey each a little kiss on the tops of their heads while she reminds them, "All right, have fun today you two, and stick close to your brother." Isabell is not paying attention because she is too exited about the pancakes. Casey agrees "Okay."
Their Dad (A thin pale man with long brown and grey hair pulled into a low ponytail who has been here the whole time awkwardly in the background) starts eating as he says, "Derron, you should take them to see the kite competition! I hear someone made a life-sized dragon kite!" Derron replies, "Good idea! Casey do you remember that kite dad made when we were little?" "Hmm..." Casey tries to think. "It caught on fire." Derron reminds him. Casey leans back in his chair, "Oh yeah! wow I cant believe I forgot about that!" Derron goes on, "That was amazing, nothing can top that one dad." Their dad laughs, "Haha! Well, I don't know about that..."
The scene zooms out on the modest but neatly furnished upstairs home as they finish their breakfast around the dining table. There is a large brick oven with plenty of wood piled next to it, wooden flooring, a sink, coat rack with plenty of coats and a couple pairs of shoes laying around. There is also stairwell leading down.

Casey shouts, "What? No! Where is she!?" The girl stares at him through her long wet hair but does not answer. Casey nervously asks "Who are you?" She takes a pause before answering grabbling something from her coat but does eventually say "...My name is Willow." Then she puts a golden necklace with a pendant shaped like a bird, there is a red glow and then in her place stands a raven. Casey stares shocked, "What?"

Leal closes his eyes to concentrate, "But that implies there is an unknown magic user within the palace walls, there are measures to prevent magical access to the palace from the outside and the royal mage isn't able to create portals." He looks grim as he continues, " I can't say why they would be connected but it seems like a strange coincidence that these events would lead to the same place." Terry groans, " Uhhhgg...Next your gonna say my 'family emergency' is connected." Leal's eyes widen in concern, " Um, do you know what it's about?" Terry continues nonchalant, "No, just that I gotta get up there as soon as I can." Leal and Casey look at each other very skeptically and both let out a, "hmmm..." Terry stops them though, "Oh what's with those looks? Come on guys I'm just joking!" She grins, "My family is really big so they could be up to anything. If it was actually important momma woulda specified. Whether your guys's problems are connected or not, whatever is going on at the palace sounds like a bigger deal so don't worry, I'll stick around to help you both out." She puts her fist over her heart, basically glowing with heroic energy.

Casey looks down at the mouse, "Hmm you don't seem wild at all and you are very cute...umm..Roll over?" He asks hesitantly, and it does! "Oh wow I didn't expect you to actually do that! That's amazing!" He thinks, "Hmm..." Then holding out his hand asks, "Shake?" and they shake hands. "Yeah!"

yes! i forgot to post this but two did make it into the kiln! I tried orange on black and black on orangey brown, cause i usually have gaps if i paint the two colors separate. :3

OK maybe I don't love working under pressure, was making myself sick stressing about getting pottery done in time so I canceled the Salem event I signed up for and feel a lot better already. Still a lot of work to do but it doesn't feel impossible anymore. 😌

👍 they look a little just straight up brown right now but according to the test tile they should brighten up a bit once they're fired.😅

working on some kitties base coats, got tuxedo, seal point, and some solid black, what color should i do next? 💭 (unfortunately not solid bright orange I can do bits and i have red/brown sorta orange but i'm basically outta the bright stuff at the moment.)
