so, if you set it up right, it gets highlighted with the surrounding sector, but you can still hover over it to highlight the lines. in-game, it's invisible.
if it's done wrong, you can't select it at all, and it does nothing.

...did she tag the wrong sides? why are we forgetting this?
I don't know why crossbeam bridge didn't work, but that's because we've never made one before. why a simple self-ref isn't acting as it should though? something's wrong.
I think her failed attempts at building a simple self-reference sector (let alone the plain invisible bridge) means that we've forgotten how to actually make them.

you would think I'd be tired out of mapping after three solid days of porting chasing suns, plus the nanowadmo stuff, but it only seems to have made the drive *worse*,..,,
attempted to speedmap so I could finally get out of front, but speedmapping kinda only works when you've got a steady stream of ideas coming to ya., >~<

both times we've opened up udb today there's been a minor update,
there's a light peep from some crickets, but the deafening sound of frogs and cicadas and whatever else that gets lost in the noise post-rain is comfy, despite being so loud.,.,
it'll probably be the thing we miss most if we ever get to leave here,
day three of it being cold and I kinda already miss the creature noises.,

this is *such* a delicate balance of lines, sectors, tex/flats, and it looks like even things.,
the difference between hitting 'not enough memory' and running is basically just the last sets of enemies and pickups., it's so close !
