I don't watch Traitors but keep seeing stuff that suggests Marler is getting a free image makeover from it and he's a popular cast member. Pretty low number of players with bans for rugby for onfield racism, grabbing genitals and being abusive about someone's mum. Marler has all three.
Yup that's got to be priority number one. And then more than one food option (it's a lunchtime game) and a contingency to open an additional stand if the Main Stand sells out again has to be priority number two!
The Edinburgh v Glasgow match (round 2) will take place at the Hive at noon ahead of the men's match at Murrayfield at 3pm. A lot of that worked well the first year, hopefully can get another good crowd and the teething problems are sorted

Rachel McLachlan scored a try late in the first half as Montpellier took the win but I'm kinda more curious as to how this match apparently went full ProD2 with 5 yellow cards and 2 reds (couldn't tell from the link which players received them!)

A Scottish derby in Elite 1 today with Rachel McLachlan starting for Montpellier and Holly McIntyre also in their 23 as they face Toulon who have Chloe Rollie at full back

Interesting to see that they were explaining the new women's contracting approach yesterday to the Premiership coaches yesterday although as is pointed out seems in the wrong order since the decision and announcement was already made
Adelle Ferrie (Cougars), Molly Poolman and Hannah Ramsay (Watsonians) return from the Scotland RWC squad. Cieron Bell also debuts for Watsonians after returning to Scotland following her time at Loughborough. And Hills are next to try stopping Stirling County
It's PWR Cup semi-finals weekend with several Scots involved, including Fi McIntosh and Natasha Logan starting for Quins, as they host Bristol, with Rhea Clarke in the 23. Lou McMillan skippers Saracens with Beth Blacklock in the 23 too, against Exeter who have Eilidh Sinclair starting
Spoiler: this team includes Helen Nelson 😍
107 - Sophie de Goede was the only player to make a century of carries at #RWC2025 (107), after being the only player to do so at the previous edition (101). Great.

ICYMI, tickets for Scotland's W6N match against France on 9 May went on sale today

(Not sure if Scottish Rugby ticketing told the Scottish Rugby social media team as haven't seen any posts about it yet, although it was in an email last week!)

Definitely not all the squad were sober....
Forgot to take my phone to Twickenham so wasn't able to Google if it's normal for most of the Scotland squad to be sitting right behind you when you go there (it was my first time there and that made it very surreal!)
One thing that is confusing me is who is setting this strategic direction and deciding who gets contracts when two apparently important roles are yet to be filled, the clubs and players clearly don't feel consulted and there are zero national team coaches in place?
