I can tell with 110% assurance that this movie made me laugh harder than anything new I’ve seen in cinemas. Because this is as near-perfect as a Black Comedy can get. And with a refreshing hour and a half runtime at that. Strangely rare these days.

“The Roses” is actually a remake of a 1989 Danny DeVito film and if that film was any bit of an insane riot as this new take, I’ve seriously missed out big time.
