Noticeably 'questionable', methinks, on notice or not!

And watt TAF is going on with Senator the Hon (NOT my abbreviation!) Murray (Knight In Shining Armor) Watt coming to the Damsel's rescue??!! Is there possibly mebbe somethin' goin' on with him & floofy voice?

Oh let's not go there nor jump the gun ... aren't Middle East 'peace treaties', historically, just red flags for Israel, usually, to s t r e t c h their boundaries?
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
I think it would fall on deaf ears, somehow ... especially when the 'audience' thinks that they are the 'prize' ... and ... AND, also thinks that everybody else thinks that as well ...

FFS "... the shrew’s extinction increases the tally of Aust. mammals extinct since 1788 to 39 species ... far more than any other country.

These losses represent about 10% of all Australia’s land mammal species before colonisation.

It is a deplorable record of trashing an extraordinary legacy."
And then there were none: Australia’s only shrew declared extinct
The tally of Australian mammals extinct since 1788 is now 39 species – far more than for any other country

Oh you're absolutely right! They are leading the way.

In my head, there's absolutely no reason the "Tuvalu System" couldn't be replicated in communities across the country ... oh wait, soz ... big Oil & Gas wouldn't like it ... my bad.
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
Nope we can't but yes we can & should make an effort change our voting system & equalise out - at least - the 'two party preferred' shit we've got going at the moment cos very few of us prefer either. Glaringly obvious with the Libs but Labor's hold is frightening & it is undemocratic.
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
I really, really need you to tell me - right now - that he did not ACTUALLY say that ... OR, even think of saying such a belittling, minimising, tiny weeny dick thinking comment.
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
Why bother🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. Y'know, with the whole 'approvals' bullshit.

Surprising that they haven't just let the bastards do whatever they want, without the 'tiresome' need to go through the 'approvals process'.

What a disgusting legacy & an appallingly deceitful disrespect for the environment.
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
Ah JM ... They never miss their mark ... wonder if there's a government who doesn't have its head right up 'the ass' of Oil & Gas ... anywhere.
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
The 'principles' of 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 ... sorry! The 'principles' of Big Oil & Gas suggest otherwise ...
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
Nope ... nothing politicians do is surprising anymore. Not a single thing. Especially when self-interest is the driver. Ha! Self-interest is ALWAYS the driver.

I guess the Q is, what do "we" do about it, since they work for "us". Oh that's right, use the power of the electoral system.
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
The mindlessness of such an act, nevermind the utter disrespect. What a tragic loss.

Typos, apologies. 30 years prior to '82. 1982.
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
A reference would be helpful esp. when it's a misleading graph. There have been far fewer mass shootings in the US - just over 150 since 1882 - than this 'cumulative graph' suggests. Hard to believe there were in excess of 5000 in the 20 yrs leading up to 1982.

Number of mass shootings in the U.S. 1982-2025| Statista
As of August 11, there were four mass shootings in the United States in 2025.

scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
No worries. Why not just say that in your original post. You wouldn't get all these lame-ass comments from Statistical Analysis challenged morons like me ...
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
I don't get these statistics ... I mean I do, for the US, but where and when in 2025, given we've still got 11 weeks left, did Australia have 64 'Mass Shootings'? 64!

Corrupt, it would seem, if the stalling of the Murujuga report; the datum fudging, then the consequential sign-off of Woodside's activity on the Burrup, condeming Murujuga to permanent damage, is anything to go by.

Who voted him in? And why, are the Qs I'd be asking if I was in his electorate.

Noooo ... drove it in Feb, again in June ... one of my favourite stretches of road with amazing stuff to see along it (the most gorgeous dingo, in June!) or if you stop, the Southern Rights @ Head of Bight ... and the sunrises/sunsets ... phWOAH!!
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
🤣🤣🤣 ... but seriously, it's the million tanks & attack aircraft on those ships with those people that we should all be focused on ... and ... AND ☝️... where they will all land to invade ...

Slavery abolished in the UK in 1834. This article circa 1948-1962.

"Corunna Downs stations manager Mr. Bligh admitted a 'mild form of slavery' and declared that pastoralists could not carry on without this slave labor."

'... light chains' & 'mild slavery' ... s'all good, nuthin' to see here.

It'd be interesting to know how many of those were Trump related ... I wish none of them were.
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
Oh ... I dunno ... anyone stupid enough to pick one of these up to cuddle it probs deserves to d .... no, no, no ... no touchy!! Stay alive ... just try hard to not stay stupid ... stupid.
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
No words. I could spit some sh*t out but ... jesus christ on a bike, I hope my belief in karma is justified. I just can't with this. I've run out of whatever reserves I had of "compassion, empathy & wisdom".

But what I NEVER want to be is NOT shocked & horrified by this appalling behaviour. Never.
scuttlebutter1.bsky.social
Yes, you're correct, me too.

I do not get the whole 'tall poppy' so 'pull her down off her perch' mentality, especially from women! And especially because she works so hard - her Wembley shows were 3.5 hrs long! Fans didn't pay more for a longer show, they paid the same as they'd pay for a 2hr gig.
