Sister, you are made with purpose.

Genesis 2:18-25 teaches us that we are strong, capable, and needed. The Bible uses "ezer" to desribe the first woman, the same word it uses to describe God as a strong help to Israel.

Powerful, capable, needed.

God is our ezer and we ezers.
🌟 Discover what it means to be made in God's image (Gen 1:26–27)?
"Image" here is Hebrew word "tselem"—which is a three-dimensional representation of something.

In other words, we were made to represent God on earth and to extend his caring rulership in the world.

Search me, oh Lord, and know my heart.

What are you afraid about?

People’s opinions?
Finances?
A medical diagnosis?

When fear comes, we have a choice:
Trust fear or practice trusting God.

Both are practices. But only one is trustworthy.

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you."
-Psalm 56:3
One Well Soul Practice we can't live without: Reading the Bible. 📖

🌟 Are you facing challenges in life?

It happens to all of us.

James 5:10-11 reminds us sometimes we simply just endure—like Job and the prophets, who trusted God was at work, even in their suffering.

No matter what you're going through, God is at work.

Hold onto Him.

Sometimes the amount of injustice in our world, in our country, can shake us. “How long, Lord?,” we may we pray.

James’ words encourage us. “Be patient,” he says. “It will all work out because the Lord is full of compassion and mercy” (James 5:11).

In times of stress or anxiety, it's easy to fall into a trap of worst-case scenarios.

👉 But here's the pivotal moment: by pausing and redirecting our thoughts toward what is good, true, we replace fear with truth. 🌟

Because for more than a decade, I didn't.

But now I have seen through the story of God that purpose is innate in who we are.

Psalm 32:8 is a verse I hold onto. He WILL teach us. He WILL instruct us in the way to go. We can trust Him and lean on Him.

🤔 REFLECT:
▫️ What is one way you need God's teaching and guidance today?
▫️ Pause and pray and ask for His help.

In a world full of pressures to perform, remember that we're saved by grace, not our deeds. (Ephesians 2:8–9).

When we embrace grace, our lives flow from a place of grace.

🤔 REFLECT:
▫️ What is one way you have been trying to perform to earn favor from God?
▫️ Pray about it.

When we feel far from God, James 4:7–10 teaches us to:

1. Submit to God. What is something you are holding back? Pray about it.
2. Draw near to God. Is there a spiritual practice you can recommit to doing to spend a moment with God more consistently?

When you feel anxious,
turn that anxiety into prayer.

It might go something like this:
Breathe in deep and release.
"God I feel anxious about (fill in the blank).
Please help me know what I can do
And do it.
And please help me trust You
with the rest."
Amen.
