I wish I knew the names of the ppl who touched my life so profoundly in those weeks/months. A person whose *last name* I dk put me, my old roomie, + a total stranger up for days. (We were the UN, no joke.) A movie theater screened films for free + fed us snax. Ppl gave direct aid.
It was beautiful 💔

NHC warnings for Jamaica and Haiti are *dire*. Jamaica might get up to 40 INCHES of rain. Melissa is now up to 140 mph winds.

I lived ~900ft frm WTC…ngl, he was so solid in the immediate aftermath, I was ready to give him that 3rd term. Best that he was denied bc 9/11 got that man positively wasted on himself/his own self-importance.

Ugh. I literally had to study those names + more bc my (clearly woke) skool was so rah-rah COMPSTAT/data-driven policymaking + up the City’s arse they couldn’t see the forest for the inherent bias.
(I had to buy then read/study/write abt Rudy Giulliani: Emperor of the City for a Pub Admin class. 😬🤮)
