Thank you. It's awful, as you know. Grief really is the price we pay for love. Part of it's shock; you feel numb like you've had a bike crash or something, and there's a couple of weeks of just putting one foot in front of the other.

I lost my cat earlier this year and it was utterly devastating. She was the best thing that ever happened to me and I didn't love her enough. You will feel like the walking dead for a while and that goes. Grief never disappears but it changes.
