It's pretty amazing how fast we changed from a horse to automobile society .. basically one generation, all that infrastructure, supply chains, everything.
Gives me hope we can change our energy across to sensible sources rapidly, when we do start to take it seriously.

My neighbour when I was a kid carves and paints boomerangs, but needs to hire someone with aboriginal phenotype to sell them to tourists. They fly well, hand carved, beautifully painted .. but he is a redhead who could sunburn looking at a postcard of a sunset
