I agree with your points. I don’t blame people like Simsie and James waiting to see what happens because their main content is the sims and pivoting would be a loss. They both play other games but have secondary channels and Twitch where they do that and it doesn’t impact their main channels.

Might play some sims 2 and 3 this weekend. Any mod and/cc recommendations for both? Also is there a way to get things from the sims 3 store for free cause I am not paying to add stuff to the game in 2025.

The only mod I have for sims 3 is master controller and I have some sims 4 conversions.

I was baffled when some announced they wouldn’t be playing the Sims 4 anymore and deleted all their content surrounding it. Like quitting doesn’t seem like the right move and you’re allowing EA to win in this situation. Everyone is allowed to do as they see fit and have different opinions obviously.

I’ve started applying for part time jobs so that I can work on the weekends because my current salary job isn’t enough financially. So far I’ve applied to a local art supply store and Michael’s. I am nervous that they are going to see me as being overqualified but I can’t worry about it.

My full-time job is being a case manager for a non-profit organization that works with women and children coming from homelessness, substance abuse, and incarceration. It’s both a stressful and rewarding job; so I would love a part time job that’s a bit more tame. Crossing my fingers for something 🤞🏿

I try to keep myself politically aware especially with the type of job I have but I also know my limits in what I consume because in the last year or so I’ve come to realize how much I internalize things which impacts me greatly.

Another thing is that even if the major content creators stop playing the sims post the finalized deal. Silent consumers who don’t share their sims online and don’t care about the politics of the gaming community are still going to buy DLC regardless.

We don’t know what’s going to happen and tbh I kinda hope the sims 4 either just ends the franchise or maxis is able to find a way out; which I don’t see happening. The Sims and its community brings me a lot of joy.

It did backfire 😬 one of the neighbors called and said you became friends with other one. Now all of the flirting and friendly interactions are failing with both sims. This is what happens when you hookup with your neighbors.

Hudson is completing his university homework for his physics degree. He is getting a degree as a backup plan, just in case his dreams of becoming a professional athlete do not work out. His cat, Betty, watching him is actually hilarious 😂

My sim Hudson Ruiz is competitive, self-absorbed, and outgoing. He will be living in San Myshuno while pursuing his degree at Foxbury, but his ultimate career goal is to become an athlete. I wanted to share some of his outfits, and I finally got to use the Autumn Apparel kit, which is great.

I’m struggling to make a sim in CAS. It’s like nothing is turning out good. I may have to scrap the sim and just randomize until I get something I like.

I was supposed to be going back to my rotational gameplay on my other computer but tbh it’s heavily modded and has so much cc. I’m not in the mood to mess around and update stuff plus I’ve been enjoying the minimal mod no cc stuff.

I swear every time I open my sims game I want to play through university 😂 Discover University is one of those packs that I go back to constantly. I am tempted to have a secondary save outside of my legacy challenge where I just play with no rules and just vibe.

I think I’m going to stick with the demo and buy House Flipper instead. Plus it’ll give me time to determine whether I’m going to genuinely play Town to City a lot. I know for fact I’ll play House Flipper for hours 😂

Not Houseflipper 2 being on sale. It’s been on my wishlist since it was announced. I think once I play the Town to City demo I’ll decide whether I want to buy it.

Finally getting around reinstalling all my games back on my gaming laptop. I am going to play the demo of town to city before I decide whether I want buy it or not; I’ve watched a lot of gameplay on it and it seems super fun.
