❌ Unfortunately, the Minister REJECTED an amendment to protect shared owners who are accidental landlords.

👉 We've repeatedly warned the Government: some shared owners will lose their home as a result.

The Renters' Rights Bill returns to the House of Commons today.

In July the @UKHouseofLords adopted an amendment to protect shared owners who are accidental landlords.

The Govt is expected to reject it.

It will level decisively the playing field between landlord and tenant and transform the experience of private renting.

England’s 11 million private renters need it to receive Royal Assent as quickly as possible.

⚖️ Shared owners won a court case against their housing association, Notting Hill Genesis, who charged them for services they don't have access to.

❌ The housing association is now appealing the ruling.
