personally i feel the biggest focus on decentralization here is on user data and clients, while hosting your own backend with all networks data is harder but still possible with how all of this works and there are/were working attempts on that

most ATProto stuff is mostly a centralized backend with actual user data being decentralized and within the control of the user

so centralized community, decentralized users

also you can run ffmpeg in browser, that has to be useful for some stuff, one type of page can use that (file converters)

similar timing to me i think and then i spent some time on Threads (not worth it, it sucks) and here i am now

downloaded all my twitter bookmarks and left, still kinda miss my timeline or not having some people from there here but i can live with that
