He has to be able to replace the known broken piece (a valve) first before he can tear the thing apart & run full diagnostic and put together a proper report that "yeah, this thing is defective"
Cuz even he's shocked at the service calls on this new heater

Got in touch with their manager..... he agrees there's something wrong with the unit but there's a little hiccup in the way before he can start the process for potentially replacing the entire unit thru the manufacturer

Update: they did send someone out & he had fixed it and ordered some new parts. We had been assured the water heater would be fine until new parts came in

EXCEPT..... that was 6 hours ago.... 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃 The thing crapped out again
