In 1980, Sittler presented Terry Fox his NHL All-Star jersey at Toronto’s Ciity Hall during his Marathon Of Hope.

He was inducted in the HHOF in 1989 and has a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in 2016.

In his career, he had 1,121 points in 1,096 games. On February 7. 1976, he recorded a record 10 points in a single game. He also scored the winning goal in the inaugural Canada Cup the next fall.

One of the greatest NHL players ever, “Sid the Kid” has won two Art Ross, two Harts, three Ted Lindsays, three Stanley Cups, two Rocket Richards, two Conn Smythes and two Olympic Golds. He is also a 10-time All-Star. He even was awarded the Order of Canada. A HHOF induction is surely awaiting him. 🏆

During his career, he won three Stanley Cups, all with Chicago (2010, 2013, 2015), one Conn Smythe Trophy in 2015, two James Norris Memorial Trophy and two Olympic gold medals, both in 2010 and 2014, named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history and will be inducted in the HHOF in 2025! 🏆
