Dnd party drew our characters in halloween costumes for this week's art session! I drew Bramble as one of his family's knight/guards! With a banner of their bearded vulture!

The banner depicts a six eyed bearded vulture with two visible eyes down it's neck. It's beak is horned. And it's expression is sly as it looks down and over it's back and tucked wings.

Above and below the vulture is fantasy text consisting of swift wavy lines. Triangles dots and dashes. (I haven't decided what it translates to)

Fun fact: a medieval castle is being built right now! Guédelon Castle (near Treigny, France) is an experimental archaeology project that began in 1997 aiming to build a 13th century castle from scratch, using only period techniques. It's still ongoing, and everything is made on-site, even the bread!

Guédelon Castle as it was in 2017. Big part of the walls has been built since then, and they are working on the roofing of the towers now.

Master builders working on a newly made gothic style window.

Mural paintings being added to the castle's Great Hall in 2012. They are inspired by 13th century murals in the nearby church of Moutiers-en-Puisaye.

Master builders installing one of the carved stones. Being experimental archaeology, the workers are not only using period materials, tools and techniques, but also are clothed accordingly.

My first ever commission of my badger i got was from eldritch_sugar and they gave him elbow tufts! Which has been a constant ever since!

Another more recent instance of this is Vonzent changing my badger's glasses shape so they better rest on the bridge of his muzzle!
