Sadly it doesn't really work that way. Devs of a company like this don't really have control over who their CEO is. And whilst you might think you'd just quit, when you don't know if another job is forthcoming and you have bills/family to take care, it ain't such an easy thing to quit.

As a former Jagex employee, and a very proud queer person, this is deeply sad to see, extremely tone deaf and either grossly naïve or wilfully deceitful.

I know a good majority of the actual team working there fought against this & were ignored.
