The worst side of it is how you run out of energy, slump onto a bed/into a chair, your head sinks into a pillow/cushion, your eyes close by themselves like they're lined with lead... But your brain just doesn't stop. All you can do is open your eyes again at some point.

It's literally torturous.

I haven't forgotten the requests or anything, I've just been in no shape to even function for the past 2 weeks... At least, I think it's been 2 weeks. Could be 3, could be less.

I just need to kind of move out of the "Slow motion trainwreck" phase of things.
I am indeed a mess. Working on that.

What a time it's been; I've had insane levels of insomnia, it's flared up the worst parts of my mental illness, I stopped eating... And then a family member had a heart attack.
They've just gotten back from hospital after needing an operation on their arteries.

These have certainly been events.

Tiny, slim & fiddly boxes, and getting the audio onto the disc itself? There was a 50-50 chance it would just corrupt at any point during.
It might elude to why mini-discs never really caught on in a big way.

I remember trying to have it put onto mini-disc, with a neat lil' official looking package & everything. Really wanted to surprise you with that.
Sadly, didn't pan out 😑 It's a finicky form of media to deal with, and the cases are just... Urgh.

I think the most frustrating part of mastering (For me, anyway) is taking into account that not everyone has the same headphones or speakers. Selfish gits.

I've just resurrected my dreamcast 💙

Should reserve social media for VA & project related things, but here, an exception has been willingly made.
I'll be spending about 30 minutes a night re-visiting the likes of Sonic Adventure, Star Wars Racer, Tony Hawk 2, Phantasy Star Online, and many others 😌

Same here with the PC & PS5, and there's no way it can deliver. Just doesn't interest me.

Can't speak for Pro Evolution, but the Actua series was great. The video for the soccer one... One dev's honest endorsement was "Nah it's crap on PC, get it for Playstation".
Only in the 90's, I tells ya.

I've a soft spot for the featurettes I've got for games like Medieval, and this ancient one called Actua Soccer. It's just that tiny peak back into the 90's that's been crystalised.
It pleases the old man parts of my brain 👍
