i think by that logic you could also say they speak very formally/seriously for the standards of people their age these days, but i think you have to just believe the writer for this kind of stuff and just accept that this is it's normal to them instead of projecting what you think is normal

i love thinking about the blind spots that are caused by my character's strengths; if anything i feel like they make the strengths even more realistic and believable, it's like giving perspective to help ppl triangulate how/why the character is good at doing that specific thing/being a specific way

but yea even tho i dont rp i always worry about this problem when i hear about rp fights; a dance partner who only sees themself is no dance partner at all, not to mention the lost opportunity to peer into a character's psyche as they face their own weakness

the effects of stress are clear because my productivity/focus plummets and im just Ineffective so i know it's very real sometimes, but those can also just be results of incompetence and i would like to find a self-proof way to distinguish one from the other

it's hard for me to know whether im stressed cus i don't feel the effect of emotions much, i almost always have to deduce what im feeling by analyzing myself, and it's hard to take the analysis seriously cus my brain asks me how do i know it's real/im not just being lazy, and idk how to answer that
