I get that completely. it’s weird when fandoms shift like that, what used to be open and creative suddenly feels full of rules and second guessing.
it must be exhausting feeling like you have to explain your intentions over and over when it’s just something you care about.

I totally get what you mean. I think it’s just hard watching how people project their own past discomfort onto everyone else’s intentions. You sound like you just want to create and connect without it turning into a debate about morality every time.

It’s like the emotional attachment and creative side of it get lost behind how people label things.

Sometimes I finish a drawing, stare at it for 10 minutes straight and think
