Those of us who’ve been following/watching Team Sea3on know their work on the entirety of S3 is far from finished. In time, we can trust them to wrap everything up in a perfect little bow.
Disney thought a 3rd season of Fish Hooks was doable. They thought a 3rd season of the Tangled series was doable. They thought a 3rd season of Amphibia was doable. Heck, even TOH managed to exceed 2 seasons.

What I don’t get is why they wouldn’t let Craig make S3 so he could end WOY his way.
How time flies! These were the days when Disney actually gave a hoot. If The Greatest and The Egg are the first two episodes, The Picnic would technically be the third.
It’s been one decade since the backstabbing bosses canceled Wander Over Yonder one week before S2 premiered.

I know @cmcccartoons.bsky.social no longer uses Tumblr, but I have a post that features Wander leaving him a voice message 9 years after the S2 finale aired.

Imagine what other gorgeous backgrounds this show would have…

IF THE HIGHER UPS HAD GIVEN IT ONE MORE SEASON FOR CLOSURE UNDER CRAIG’S CONSENT.
I think I remember a scene or two in which some Snorks were out of the water without any gear on. It was an episode about a fallen star, if I recall correctly.
WOY doesn’t just deserve a third and final season, it demands it.

9 years after Season 2 of Wander Over Yonder ended and we still don’t have the full scoop of Season 3.

If you’ve actually seen this shot in the end tag, Like.

If you wish to know more about S3, Repost.

If you’re determined to right the wrong done to WOY, Comment.

Fish Hooks doesn’t need saving. It got three seasons and an actual conclusion.
Remarkable. These are vaguely different from the concept art made by Ben Balestreri.

I wonder if Alex knows what Star Force Enforcement Force look like. Could he also have been involved in preproduction between the S3 pitch (Feb 2015) and Disney’s cancellation decision (Jul 2015)?
I’m pretty sure only the preproduction-type stuff exists. They know what Star Force Enforcement Force actually look like, what the deal is with the space ape, and how Lord Hater came to be.
We know Craig is working on Foster’s Funtime (and maybe the PPG revival, too), but he can’t keep us in the dark about all things pertaining to S3 forever. After all, he led us to believe it was guaranteed to be amazing when he brought up the cancellation.
The one excuse I can think of for P&F’s revival is the follow up to Meepless in Seattle (Meep Me in St. Louis).

I do wonder if there were even plans for S5 right after production on S4 ended.
If I had wanted more P&F, I would have made as much fan art of it as I did of WOY.

This one, which I drew nearly five years ago, is all you’ll ever get out of me.
Those entitled strange-Oregon-town-loving loonies have some nerve, don’t they? What part of “A third season was planned for Wander” do they not understand?
Is it unreasonable to believe that reviving overrated/completed shows is a redundancy? With a certain DTVA show returning, I’m inclined to bring up the letter and sketch I made back in 2023. We’ll see what the future brings.

I still think any wrong done to any DTVA show pales in comparison to what happened to WOY.

First things first, though. Craig has to finish whatever he has going on with Foster’s Funtime (and maybe the PPG reboot). Meanwhile, we need to keep reminding Disney of WOY’s unfinished business.
I don’t know how much of the preproduction content was made before the backstabbing occurred in late July of 2015, but it’s waiting to be put to good use after work on Foster’s Funtime (and the PPG) is done.
When first-time watchers of Wander Over Yonder get to the end of S2, I don’t want them to say, “Well, I’m done. Now what?” I want them to say, “If The End of the Galaxy was said to be the series finale, then why is there a chimp in a crash-landed space capsule in the end credits?” and take action.
That’s the kind of talk I like to see. As you can tell from my profile picture, I’m determined to right the wrong done to the show.
Or better yet, “deserves to be revived.” One more season or a TV movie is all I ask for. Given the current circumstances, however, I’d settle for a PDF of the plans for S3.
Does anyone, anyone at all, know what Star Force Enforcement Force from the canceled third season of Wander Over Yonder look like?
If I recall, Gary is still at Disney, but he’s not in the television division these days. And FYI, it will have been 9 years since the public got word of the uncalled-for cancellation and the existence of the plans for S3. Hulu and D+ would be better placed to watch WOY legally.
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
