Hi to whomever happens to stumble in here.
I'm Sikard (or Claudia) and I like to use watercolours, sometimes in a more illustrative and sometimes in a more loose way. I'm particularly drawn to anything mystical, mythical and oooold.
Oh, and every once in a while I also cosplay.

This box was unearthed in the attic and contains (parts of) my oldest cosplays. The nostalgia is hitting but let's not pretend that these can be worn again (and not just because I'm not the same size I was as a teen...) 😂

But I've had this problem with some games when they tried to automatically start in 4k.
As I said, my graphics card is rather old and is reaching its limits with some programs.

With 4k all I did was move the camera and my graphics card got deactivated. When I changed the resolution it happened after I changed the viewpoint to rendered but I still hadn't actually used the program.

Today I wanted to teach myself how to use Blender.

Instead I'm now looking at graphics card prices since my 9-years old card is hardcore struggeling with 4k. And by struggeling I mean it just shuts down 🙃

(Setting my monitor to 1080p did unfortunately not solve anything. It just crashed later.)

Da es nix mit Nyx wurde, musste ich den Schrank mit alten Cosplays plündern, aber das ist auch OK. Eska und Yennefer habe ich schon lange nicht mehr getragen und der Vorteil wird sein, dass ich mir keine Gedanken machen muss, überall hängen zu bleiben xD

Vielleicht bleibe ich auch ganz zivil.

It's astonishing how I'm suprised-pikachu-face everytime I try to pack my stuff into a smaller luggage for a convention.

Who would've thought that a costume might take up more space than a tshirt and a pair of jeans 🙃
Not to mention all those extra shoes and boots.

Das kann ich verstehen. Ein Teil von mir möchte trotzdem noch das alles durchdrücken 😅
Aber ich weiß, dass ich am Ende nur gestresst und unzufrieden sein werde, weil nichts so passt und funktioniert, wie ich das will, nur weil ich mir eben nicht die Zeit und Muße dafür genommen habe.

No Azula because I don't want to bother with the armour lol.

Aaaaand there it happened - or rather: Nyx is not happening.

When given the choice to pull some all-nighters or just postpone everything until Animuc or something so that I can work on it without rushing and stressing, I'm choosing the latter.

In other words: I'm Too Old For This Shit TM 😅

I don't think the video properly conveys the actual effect of all that glitter but I love how it looks in real life.

Ok, I decided to embrace the glitter. For one it's the "right"and therefore the more sparkly side. I also ripped the fabric trying to open the seam and I'm not taking any chances.

So if you want to find me at the convention just follow the glitter trail 😅
