God I hate family gatherings.
As someone very sensitive to noise, having to put up with several people loudly talking in the same enclosed space and being demamded to put up with it is both physically and mentally painful for me.

This video never names it, but it nails the “woozle effect”: when something seems true bc sources cite each other instead of an original. The term’s from Winnie the Pooh, where Pooh and Piglet follow their own tracks in circles looking for "woozles." Perfect metaphor for AI ouroboros poisoning info.

Huh, never realized this about the PMD games until now.
I'm sure someone's written a PMD fanfic where the biggest trade-off of travelling to the Pokemon world is memory loss. It's certainly an interesting setup.

Look, can we all agree that social media in general just sucks now?
You can start any social platform you want, but even if you aren't a right-wing fuckshit and you have the best intentions people are still going to misuse it.
It's really just a no-win situation for everyone except the elite class.

Bluesky is just a much safer platform to use and I've gotten way more traction here than anywhere else. This wouldn't even be an issue if social media hadn't devolved to be as fundamentally flawed as it is now.
