Some little carbuncle whinged and moaned about going outside despite the rain. I put his harness on but of course as soon as he was allowed he decided rain or wet feet wasn’t for him. Redeemed himself by sitting in my lap.

#booksky #pukapuka 💙📚🇳🇿 i genuinely can’t believe I didn’t think until last week to check whether Mary Shelley had written other books given how much I love Frankenstein! Was listening to a non-fiction audiobook about the end of the world which referenced this book multiple times.

📚 finished. A few interesting things in here I learned & some things to consider when reading Kafka. Intriguing how his popularity spread to Korea, Japan and China. Apparently there’s more of his stuff that was confiscated by Nazis and changed hands several times before ending up in Berlin again.

#booksky #pukapuka 💙📚🇳🇿 I read at least 1 non-fiction per month and this is my choice. I’ll read it piecemeal rather than all in one go. I’ve been reading some Kafka short stories last month in prep for this book. I loved The Trial By Kafka and am intrigued by how revered he is Culturally.

I vaccumed this morning and upset him by doing so. I however feel less anxious when the carpet looks cleaner. I’m on the walking pad now and he’s come out from hiding… hence the bad photos.
