funfact, we used to have an alter (former host) who identified with our legal/dead name (rather, only the nickname version of it)
and then she changed her name to Cathy

from "-nickname of legal name- McCarthy", to "Cathy"

Some friends know me as Sebastian/Seby/Basti
bc that's the name I'll legally change to someday

and Marshall is the name of the current host (hi, that's me) of the "North System"

I'm being called that name at work and at home still, so it's not like. harmful to me

I'd just consider it as ass move if someone got to know me under the names I've given you (North, Seby, Marshall etc etc)
and you choose my deadname instead

bc one of my grandmothers is prussian, from a part of Prussia that is now Russia sooo... yes and no?

Noone in my family speaks russian tho

though that makes sense to me, given we are the hosts

I can give million examples of other alters artstyles, even years later the different is jarring to me sometimes lmao
