The first page reads “I was prepared for this. I knew all along things would end this way. I knew, I really knew, that you weren’t any different. You weren’t special. You could have never fooled me. I had my guard up. I always did. I knew this would happen.” The second page reads “so, why…” with the text of “why” merging into a speech bubble from Skyfire, face obscured and crying out.

The third page reads “why do my insides spin when I recall you? (I never stopped searching for you)”, with Starscream looking down, a blank expression. The fourth page reads “(Id like to say it’d be easier if you were still gone) why does my spark twist and convulse at the sight of you?” With Skyfire looking back at the previous page’s Starscream, confused.

Starscream’s eye is the only picture on page 5, reading, “Weakness. You made me weak. And I let you. I let you in and you grew into me like a parasite. And I let you. You made me weak. I let a traitorous bot like you make me look like a fool.” The last page shows a messy drawing of Starscream looking backwards, reading “I let you make me regret who I’ve become.” The back cover is an image of Skyfire with his eyes shut, insignia replaced by a scribble.

Hey everyone! I'm back with the faux stained glass stuff! Had to do something to honour my favourite pairing and this felt quite fitting.

I'm also gonna count this as my daily entry for @skystarweek.bsky.social I think this just about manages to fit into Stars/Skies as a prompt.
