Farmers shared challenges like pests and explored producing liquid fertilizers. The session strengthened producers' knowledge & commitment to a resilient market.

At Regenerate Africa in Buikwe District, youth from the SFYNUganda gathered for a Good Food Camp to promote food biodiversity and cultural heritage. The day is filled with interactive sessions, innovations, and a biodiversity walk at Nalumuli farm, where regenerative farming meets nature.
The Good Food Camp kick started with campfire, networking, and food storytelling nights at Regenerate Africa in Buikwe District. We’re celebrating local food, preserving biodiversity, and sustainability with youths from across Uganda. We’ll be sharing more highlights about the camp

On 29th April, 2025, Slow Food Uganda conducted a field visit for Kiziba and Kambibi Community demonstration gardens where farmers have established vegetable nursery beds of nutritious vegetables including amaranths, sukuma, the black night shed, and African bitter berries.
