Q: What do you have to say about your genre of prog/art rock being inaccessible to the average listener?
A: Just pretend one song is multiple songs, god. It's not that hard. Gates of Delirium is an EP's worth of songs.

Q: "What’s your songwriting process?"
A: "I start with some chords, then I delete them. I decide chords are too limiting, actually, and place random notes until they sound good. I've got a set of dice for the time signatures."

Q: “What’s your biggest influence?”
A: “Every time I pass Kelso - *scoff* - I can hear a car alarm, and a lot of the time they’re in 9/8. Basically, this is the ‘car alarm album’ of my discography.

A: “Slowly moving furniture was taken. Also, I like to imagine possums moving at 12 frames a second. Makes me feel like I’m in a squirrel movie.”
