The fentanyl coming from Canada is not the problem and yet PP, trying to dunk on Trudeau, is willing to use our soldiers to stop and search our citizens. Completely inappropriate, a waste of resources, and cowardly.

The white house website says 21,000 pounds of fentanyl were seized at US borders last year. CNN says 43 pounds were seized at the northern border, but from what I can tell, that includes 10 pounds seized coming into Canada from the US.

I don’t love JT, but he found a way without soldiers. Don’t love how quickly PP was willing to send our soldiers to the border to harass our own citizens.

Anyone else think Poilievre seemed unhinged demanding Canada send troops to the border yesterday? Yes, Mexico got a 30 day reprieve on tariffs for doing that but… weird to kick and scream like that’s the only possible move.
