Mark Williams finishes his Xi’an week in style, bringing home a career 27th ranking title, one less than Steve Davis, by annihilating Shaun Murphy 10-3 in the final. Willo became today also the oldest ever winner of a ranking title at the age of 50 years and 206 days #147sf #snooker

There is not a single time I watch Mark Williams playing that I do not find myself hoping he will never retire. Brilliant talent, pure genius and a unique character, truly one of the all time legends of this sport #147sf #snooker

😆 Mark Williams doesn't seem too bothered about breaking the record.

Come on Mark, it would be a great achievement! 💪

Mark Williams playing a shot on a snooker table with overlaid text that says: "Being the oldest at something, it's not really a record is it? If I did manage to win it, probably Ronnie (O'Sullivan) or John Higgins would beat it in a few months time anyway. No, it's just nice to be in the final, and if I can win a tournament it'll be great"

In Zahlen:

Zhou Yuelong £ 5.000 für das höchste Break.

Shaun Murphy £ 76.000 als Runner-Up.

And the winner is:

🥁

Mark Williams! 🏆🥳

Also bin ich recht entspannt. 😊
