Just saved 22s IGT and a minute RTA, neat. This run had enough luck to break a minute barrier, and going beyond 5th place will require me to sub 8... but this PB boosts me to 3rd place RTA, since I use game slowdown more sparingly :3

The new patches in ATLYSS make the game way slower (this is 25m slower than my old PB), mostly because of some quest XP changes that stretch out the earlygame with the current route (potentially fixable?). Ignore the last split; I messed up X3

Streets of Rogue: Cardio in 9:52 IGT. Cardio is Any% but you can't get the 2 traits that make teleporting better. This run had some very lucky levels in terms of how close the missions were to each other, but I did play it a bit safe…

I ran it back after sleeping and got a 9:04, saving another minute and change. This run places me in 5th, but the next step up isn't until 7:59. The problem is that each PB is luckier than the last, so I shall have to gamble harder...

Streets of Rogue: Any% in 10:27 IGT — running solo, I got a fortunate run that saved 1m5s over my previous PB. A highlight of this run was the easy final world (Uptown), which accounts for much of the timesave. Sub 10 would be cool...

In similar news, I've submitted ATLYSS Colossus% and Streets of Rogue Any% Co-op for AGDQ2026, and unlike the previous couple times I've submitted, I remain open to attending in person if I get accepted. Here's hoping that one or both of them make it in; I think it would be cool to show them off :3
I meant to post this on Friday, when I ran Streets of Rogue co-op with CMOJoker, RifeXD, and enbyzee (one day of many). Before we found our current meta 12 weeks ago, WR was 12 minutes.

ATLYSS: All Quests in 2:04:35. I got some better RNG, but now it's looking like sub 2 is doable. Despite that, I think I'm okay to leave it here since the run is long and there's way too much left to chance.

ATLYSS: All Quests in 2:15:10. A fun run to dabble in; all of the RNG just ebbs and flows due to the amount of resource grinding you have to do, so you kinda just get to vibe with the game for a couple hours. I'll probably try for another PB

I'm considering posting splits here when I get new PBs, like literally every other speedrunner.

I'm working out a solution for video storage that isn't YouTube, and being active here would allow me to still keep a wider audience in the loop despite ditching the algorithmic monopoly I've been using

I play on Scribblenauts Collection, a compilation cart. While I'm unsure this could be a contributing factor, it might be best to use Collection just so the conditions are the same. Using input recording tools in BizHawk is recommended so I can examine the gameplay easily if it gets figured out.
My first guess when it happened once was that I beat the long level 8-2 just before the music was going to change. However, 6-4 is too short for that. I thought it might be that the level goals were reached when the game was about to fail you (because a bear dies), but so far this also is doubtful.
This glitch generally prevents background music from playing, and from rough comparisons saves 4 seconds in every level after the glitch is initially triggered. This would be some amazing tech, except for the fact that 1) it crashes the game after half an hour and 2) Nobody knows what causes it.
