it's so weird when I toggle her "no makeup" look since Adelaide is generally so reticent to be seen without her normal look. dark lipstick to hide often kiss-bruised lips. heavy shadow over her lid to offer a hint of intimidation. without it, it's just a whole shield gone.

In her old life she was regarded quite highly for her astute reading of patterns. She predicted the ascians moves all too well, but she lacked the strength at the time to do anything to avert disaster. It gnags at the back of her mind, to do more sometimes, but she's spent so many days in idleness.
