I'm really worried about the future. I feel like the trend of discourse isn't learning and growing, but looking for "gotcha" info (even if it's misunderstood or flat-out wrong) to win an argument at any cost.

There is strength in acknowledging your own mistakes or weaknesses and learning from them.

I honestly think it's BS that he didn't know. The strike has been talked about HEAVILY for a while now all over social media. No way he didn't see at least one post about the strike. He literally follows VAs that have talked about it.
