I again feel bad, because I wish to show respect, but I have reservations for going. I wish it was easier to face, but seeing my own father years ago laying there and looking like a husk of his former self still haunts me a bit.

Regardless, I'm going to do my best to have a good day today.

I admittedly have been streaming a lot to take my mind off of the feelings I had. Uncle Doc wouldn't want me to be sad for him, as he's moved on to a better place. I still hate that he passed away before I could see him again after I came home from being gone for years. Hurts a lot.

His funeral is today, and a part of me wants to go but I am conflicted.

A. I don't have any fancy dress clothes to wear, and I'd feel less than respectful going in my usual attire of t-shirts and shorts.

B. Part of me doesn't want to have that image of seeing him like that.

Feeling conflicted about something. I'm gonna talk about a recent death in the family so if you don't wanna read this just move on.

My Mom's uncle passed away the other day. He was 94 and lived a long life, but one of his kids put him in a rest home apparently and he caught the C*vid.
