For context, it was this monitor. There's no branding.

I recently got an older monitor and it has the most amazing OSD settings menu I've ever seen. Look at them!!!

Here are the quick models I made to work with.

I finished a part for a project I'm working on. Basically, I needed an optical and floppy drive but full-sized ones are way too big. So I took laptop versions of these parts and made a frame to mount them in, with adapters to attach the drives to regular PC motherboard.

What would happen to the old body once the upload is done? xP

I love finding mushrooms when walking through forests. This one reminds me of a pancake.

This isn't my project nor idea. I just followed the steps and made my own. All credit goes towards Matt from MMI Modular.

It would be awesome if you could buy something like this pre-made. But sourcing all the components would be expensive and time consuming. This cost me about 200$ just in parts.

Nope, you need to buy everything separately. It's not a product.
I bought the speakers from Tundra Labs, the headband from AIAIAI, the Pico Amp and adapters from MMI Modular and the rest I 3D printed myself with the provided files.
You also need a drill and screws. It's genuinely simple to make.

The last package arrived for me to be able to put together these unique headphones!
These are the "hummingbirds" by MMI Modular that use the Valve Index BMR speakers. When using these nothing rests on your ears. Instead the speakers float next to them. It's a lot more comfortable to wear.

I just needed some amethyst in Minecraft. xd
This is amazing.

Omg that is so cool! I love how stylized it is. Thank you so much. xd

Yup, they wanted to get rid of it because it was taking up space.
They thankfully approached and asked me if I wanted to have it because they know I like this kind of stuff. Otherwise it would be in the dump now.
I don't even want to start to think about all the other cool stuff they threw away...

I just gotta say how impressive it is to see your art improve over time. Amazing art!

For some reason the gif doesn't work. So here's a video version of it.

I got this nixie-tube display "desk-calculator" from work that was going to be thrown out. As far as I can tell it's from the 1960s. Just look at how big and complex it is!
It can do addition, subtraction, multiplication and even division!

WHO GUTTED YOU???? Was it me?

Is that why they're slowly depleting in quantity...?
spacedragon42.bsky.social
It's not very filling anyway. A bunch of them are only 64MB...

I saved it all from being dumped. I'm glad I was able to do that.
It's nice to hear from you again Ren. I hope you've been doing well.
