Since Tomonobu Itagaki's death (RIP) I see more people discovering DOA with gameplay videos and realize that it's not just a game with some well-designed women in it. The DOA games have great gameplay, stages and physics. It's still a very underrated fighting game series imo.

Replaying Dragon Quest XI lately, I forgot how nice the game looks with all the different areas. It's the very old school way of making a J-RPG world but it still works cause they're too good at it.

Oh and by the way the "group" (it's probably just one dude) is trying to sell the music as something made in the 70/80s, even credits some fake guitarist/bassist etc... on Bandcamp. 😂

Well, as most AI stuff it still feels soulless but it's still sad to see/hear. Like I get using AI for some stuff when you're broke and have to work with very limited tools but at least the main artistic thing that you're supposed to offer should be made by yourself. 🙃

I hate using AI to have decent covers for my projects. Always feel guilty. I'd rather pay an illustrator if I could. But at least the actual thing I'm trying to sell (music) is not AI. I just discovered a "group" that makes absolutely everything via AI and it already gets thousands of views. 💀
