Have they even tested? No apparent abatement measures used during demo. Friable asbestos waste requires wetting, wrapping, & manifested disposal at an asbestos-authorized disposal site. DC doesn’t have its own landfills. Where are they sending it—VA? MD? This has been bugging me too!
Last time I rented, water heater kept shorting out. Found out the repair person was just pushing the reset button to fix. 7 times it went out & I reported it. Finally sent letter to apt mgr & to City Fire Dept. of 🔥 hazard because it was shorting out. Apt manager finally replaced the water heater.
