Woke up to the news of someone other than Trump winning the Nobel Peace Prize and thanked God. It feels sad to be thankful for that but I really was worried because we are in unprecedented times

I’m sorry to hear this. I did know that Basic only supports the web based version of their apps not the desktop, so that’s not a switch I’d make or advise anyone to make if you’ve been working with the desktop version and have copious files. I hope they can restore your docs though 🙏🏾

Drats, yeah. Some workplaces automatically upgrades to CoPilot, I guess for their idea of productivity. As someone who has it on my personal computers and desktop, I don't want the AI extension nor price tag

Go into your Microsoft356 subscription page, click cancel subscription, then you will see an option for the Microsoft with CoPilot for $99.99 or without it which is consider Classic for $69.99. I think you have to disable by cancelling it as functionality in your MS365 subscription

I'm not sure who uses Microsoft 365 and needs to hear this, but the recent price increase from $69.99 to $99.99 is for the added functionality of CoPilot, their AI tool. If you choose Microsoft 365 without CoPilot, you can retain the $69.99/year subscription price.

I was today year’s old when I learned that in the beginning of Junior Reid’s “One Blood,” he’s saying “Modern vampires of the city hunting blood, blooood.” Like I knew he said blood but what he said before that was simply a soup and salad of unintelligibility, a Jamaican war cry if you will 😭

Apparently, Turning Point's Blexit, that is their chapter of sunken place negroes, has plans to tour HBCUs this month. They are going to FAMU next Friday, Oct. 17. My prayer is that the students and administration will do as we always do, strike, strike, and strike again.

Lord, my samba instructor just posted the video of me failing greatly at dancing to an enredo on Saturday. I don’t even have the heart to watch it. (Turns out light and goes to sleep) 😭

It’s not that we’ve never samba’d at 155MPH but it’s totally different to just follow the batería. You really must be lead by the drums and feel it and keep moving. I pushed through the finish a semblance of the choreography but sheesh. I am still shook.

Samba has been going better in past weeks but yesterday the teacher challenged us. She turned on an enredo and had each of us dance by ourselves. When I say I nearly had a meltdown! All the choreo I’d learned in the previous hour left my mind and body and the 155MPH shocked me
