Progress update. Base is done and weapons are halfway done. Almost finished with the gatling guns. The the shield. Then the 'Corn proper. Hoo boy. This is a lot.

Paired up the Ez-8 and HG Ground Gundam for a few pics. I like the poses did for the 3rd pic, but the lighting is bad. I had no idea. And I don't know why the lighting is bad for it. I didn't change a thing for the light. Oh well.

Ground Gundam is ready! Fun build. Lost the white piece for the chest to the carpet void, so I improvised with a bit of runner and a pin vice. Not the best looking, but it'll do. And the loose chest piece irks me. I know it's supposed to be like that, but still. Irks me

Currently am having fun! I love the 08th MS Team, too. The MS designs were fantastic and the grounded (heh) feel of the show was a nice change of pace after watching the UC trilogy of shows and CCA. Wish more of the older HGs got revives, like the Gouf Custom. And that others weren't P-Bandai

I forgot to post the Jegan pics I took when I finished. Really like the kit. Wish it had a spare mag for the rifle. And the only real complaint is the thigh swivel not being the best. Wish it had a few more parts with that darker green, to help with breaking up the mint

You think the Geara Doga is happy? Couldn't help but get the MG Jegan after the GD. Just had to get a Feddie grunt to go with the Zeke grunt. And to help build out the MG CCA collection. Guess the Sazabi should be next

Geara Doga is ready for action! Such a fun build, besides those rubber parts. Kept popping out while building the torso. Poses well, and has a separate monoeye movement gimmick, like the HG. Prefer that over the moves with the head version, like the Zaku 2.0

Oh, rubber parts. I don't think I've built a kit with rubber parts before. Kind of like them, since it's not the tedious threading of the Zaku 2.0, Gouf 2.0, and RG Zaku. But, I also worry about durability and inability to be panel lined easily. Shame. But oh well

Been a while since my last monoeye kit. And watching Unicorn made me go into a CCA MS mood. Would have gone for the Jegan, if it weren't for my last kit being a Gundam, and really wanting to build an antagonist suit fr balance.

EZ 8 Robot Spirits was on steep discount. Yoinked it immediately. And it is a great figure. Might even replace the HG on my shelf, since it can fit fairly well with the HGs.
