How it feels to be an indie artist

You're miss-quoting Nightcrawler" which is a reference to the sociopathic protagonist's line "You have to earn the money to buy the ticket" which is some sorta online business school catchphrase expressing the protagonist's fixation on money and "self-reliance" as he coerces, steals, and breaks every ethical boundary to get power and fame. While the author does not actually feel that they've sunk to the protagonist of drive's level, they must admit it's a catchy line.
