i also explained hadesgame at some point, and as I filled in details, she recognised zagreus not from having seen him, but from several pat/achilles/zag fics she'd read, and also a doujin where zag got fucked by the minotaur. zero knowledge there was a game attatched to any of it

legit i beg anyone to listen to designers who have worked on fp2 mobile games or games with lootboxes speak on this topic. the discussions these devs r having abt these mechanics should make u understand why they disgust me inherently. it is literally, with no exaggeration, designed to fleece you.

in game purchases are inherently evil and intentionally thus. anyone who has worked for any one of these companies making these games will tell you this. the game itself is always. ALWAYS secondary to the ways in which they can fleece you. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

game can be bad but still very addicting. addicting does not mean game is good. it means game was designed to light up your brain in certain ways in order to get you to spend money. do not fall for it.

speaking of hades: im playing hades 1 again bc I never finished it and ohhh my god. idk what happened but i was awful at this game in 2021 and now i am not. im seeing plot beats within 18 escape attempts that i'd previously never seen within like... 72. i remember it being SO so so much harder wtf

exactly and same!! like i suprised myself immensely when i got my laptop and after a full year of not drawing/painting, the first thing I made was as good if not better than where I'd left off. i did feel like i'd forgotten how i 'used' to do some stuff, but I think now its been a good thing!
