No Kings 10/18 was an incredible Pro-Democracy movement, NYC had 100-250k peaceful protesters- inflatable Frogs, unicorns, dinosaurs and American Flags and signs galore, all ages. No arrests, none of us were paid, it was a uniting experience that made me feel like i wasn’t screaming into the void.

The 'big, ugly bill' is going to hit rural America and every community across the United States. With hospitals closing, people being fired and higher costs for health care, we'll see fewer people going to local restaurants, shopping at businesses and more.
Also, if the answer to chronic disease is healthier food choices, the administration's policy and staff cuts to USDA programs that supported food access and local farmers seems pretty counterproductive.
The Founding Fathers would roll over in their graves if they knew that the current administration was considering suspending habeas corpus. It is the foundation of our nation and a pillar of democracy.
